Setup iCloud email on Android 4 ICS

I have used icloud mail on my Mac and iPhone 4s. After trying different settings and stuffing workaround, finally I make iCloud email working fine on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Razr Maxx running Android 4.0.4 ICS.

The iCloud setting on Android 4 phone or tablet using the default email client
* Incoming Mail
Username: just the part before the @ symbol (don’t put the part in)
Password: the same as it on your iOS device
IMAP server:
Port: 993
Security type: Select SSL/TLS and accept all certificates

* Outgoing Mail
Username: your full email address
Password: the same as it on your iOS device
SMTP server:
Port: 587
Security type: Select STARTTLS and accept all certificates
Require sign-in: check it.

  1. Thank you SO MUCH! I’ve tried countless different settings to get this working on my Droid DNA and your settings finally did the trick! I can’t thank you enough.

  2. Thank you for this! I was previously having problems getting the archive folder to work properly, but this solved it! Thanks again!
